  How to get an RMA to return a product?

  The following procedure will show you how to obtain an RMA (Return Material Authorization)

  Hardware

Many Adaptec hardware products are covered by a 5-year Limited Warranty. See your warranty card for complete details regarding the warranty on your specific product.

Return for Credit

If you purchased an Adaptec Product through an authorized Adaptec Reseller, Retailer or Technology Distributor within the last 30 days and the product has not been opened (used) contact them directly to inquire about a credit or refund.

All other inquiries concerning replacement/exchange, refund or credit must be processed through Adaptec's Technical Support

RMA

If you purchased your Adaptec Product directly from Adaptec, an Adaptec authorized Reseller, Retailer or Technology Distributor and need a replacement/exchange please contact Adaptec's Technical Support directly to request an RMA.

To begin the RMA process, please contact our Technical Support Department.

For the most efficient service, have your Adaptec product at hand when calling our Technical Support Department. The TSID and/or serial number of the product and fault description is required.
