Adaptec is working closely with Microsoft to ensure a seamless migration of our customers who want to move to Windows Vista. Your Adaptec investment continues to pay off - drivers/software for applicable adapters are being upgraded to support features implemented in Windows Vista.
Check the following pages for compatibility information regarding Adaptec products and Microsoft Windows Vista Edition:
A "Yes" in this column indicates that Microsoft has provided a driver/software for this product, embedded in the final release of Microsoft Windows Vista (included on the CD-ROM).
A "Yes" in this column indicates that Adaptec plans to release a Windows Vista driver/software for this product. This driver/software will be available for download from the Adaptec web site in the future.
"YES" in this column indicates a final release driver/software is available for download. These link to the download page for each driver/software.
Additional Notes:
(EOL) This product is no longer manufactured by Adaptec.
( 1 ) This card will function with the Microsoft embedded drivers.
( 2 ) This unit does not require an OS driver. It’s proper functionality should be independent of the OS, however please consult the product’s support page for a complete list of supported operating systems.
( 3 ) These drivers do not include HostRAID.
( 4 ) Adaptec supplied drivers are included with Windows Vista.
( 5 ) This card will function with the Microsoft Vista drivers available for download under the 32-bit version of Windows Vista only. There will be no support for x64 Editions.
(TBD) indicates that we have not yet determined if or when we will provide a driver for this product.
